Lisa Kittrell has been a long-time Board member with Carteret Partnership for Children, serving since 2003. She serves as the designee from the Carteret County School Superintendent. In addition to her regular Board membership, Lisa also serves on the Board's Monitoring and Evaluation Committee.
Lisa has been in education for a total of 31 years. She has taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades, served as an Assistant Principal, and is currently the Director of Elementary Education for the Carteret County Public Schools.
Lisa is married with two children - one a graduate of UNC - Chapel Hill and the other beginning her freshman year at UNC-CH in August. Both children benefitted from programs offered by the Partnership. In her spare time, she loves boating with her family.
