Story Explorers
Story Explorers is a literacy-based parent/child part-day preschool, open to ages birth to 5. The preschool experience provides hands-on activities and opportunities to enhance early learning and socialization skills for children. Story Explorers utilizes the DCDEE approved curriculum-Funshine Express.
Parents are a child's first teacher, therefore it is critical that they play an active role in their child's early learning experiences. Story Explorers offers a time where parents can learn the importance of play in a young child’s development while networking with other families and receiving local resources.
The program is offered at no charge to families living in Carteret County.
