Story Explorers
Story Explorers is a Kaleidoscope Play & Learn activity that provides gatherings of parents and young children that offer activities to promote children’s development through play and adult social support.
It is unique in that it offers parents an opportunity to participate with their child in an early learning environment. As their child learns through play, parents and caregivers are given ideas to extend the learning at home.
Parents are a child's first teacher; therefore, it is critical that they play an active role in their child's early learning experiences. Story Explorers' Kaleidoscope Play & Learn offers a time where parents can learn the importance of play in a young child’s development while networking with other families and receiving local resources.
The program is offered at no charge to families living in Carteret County.
