Grant Received for Inclusion Dolls

We are excited to announce that we have been selected as a grant recipient by the Beaufort Ole Towne Rotary. Through their generosity, we have received a $200 grant to purchase inclusion dolls for preschool classrooms across Carteret County.

Inclusion dolls serve as essential educational tools in early childhood settings. By representing a range of ethnicities, physical abilities, and medical devices, these dolls help validate every child’s identity, foster empathy, and reduce early prejudices. Incorporating such diverse representations in the classroom helps normalize differences and creates a welcoming environment where every child feels seen, valued, and included.

We are deeply grateful to Beaufort Ole Towne Rotary for its commitment to supporting children and building more inclusive communities. We are honored to have them as one of our valued community partners.
