Updated: 6 days ago

We are thrilled to announce that Carteret Partnership for Children is the recipient of grant funding to further support our home-based therapy program - Better Beginnings.

The Anonymous Trust of North Carolina recently awarded a $15,000.00 grant to Carteret Partnership for Children. In addition to the initial grant funding, Anonymous Trust of NC has issued a challenge grant to the CPC Board of Directors. They are challenged to raise $8,000.00 which will be matched with an additional $8.000.00 for a total of $31,000.00.

An additional $5,000.00 has been received from Carolina East Foundation.

Better Beginnings provides in-home family therapy and case management to children identified with risk factors associated with the development of negative outcomes later in life. Home-based therapy is a unique research-based model of intervention that combines clinical family therapy techniques with a comprehensive service delivery approach which responds to the family's concrete needs and strengths.
