International Paper recently made a $500.00 donation to support the Partnership's Community Diaper Closet.
1 in 3 families struggle to afford basic hygiene products. As explained on the Diaper Bank of North Carolina “Public safety net programs such as WIC and SNAP assistance do not cover the purchase of diapers and wipes, often leaving families to make the difficult decision between buying diapers or other necessities with their limited funds. For families in need, something as small as a diaper can have a significant impact”.
This donation will be to purchase diapers and wipes that are available to families across Carteret County.
