Baby Steps is a community based, in-home family support program which utilizes a strength-based approach while providing education, support, and resource information to families with children prenatal through 3 years old. Through regular visits, parents gain valuable information and insight into their children and themselves.
Baby Steps uses the Partners for a Healthy Baby Curriculum. Partners for a Healthy Baby is a comprehensive, researched home visiting curriculum developed by Florida State University’s Center for Prevention & Early Intervention Policy*.
Through funding from Carteret Partnership for Children, Better Beginnings provides home-based family therapy and case management to children with risk factors associated with the development of negative outcomes later in life.
