With summer upon us, things are slowing down a bit at the Partnership, but there are still plenty of resources and activities for you to take advantage of. Chick-Fil-A playgroups continue to meet the 4th Tuesday of each month during the summer and be sure to sit in on the 8th Annual Storytelling Festival each Wednesday in July. Registration for regular playgroups will be help on August 31st and September 1, 2011 at the Partnership office and the first week of the 2011-2012 Story Explorers Playgroup season will be September 12-15.

| Grandmaster Don'g Martial Arts is teaming up with Chick-Fil-A to help raise money for "Children Helping Children." On Monday, November 21 from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm, the Carteret County Partnership for Children will be the non-profit of choice receiving a portion of the proceeds from the day. Just mention "Dong's Martial Arts" when you dine in, carry out or drive thru, that day and Chick-Fil-A will donate those proceeds to the Partnership for Children and its programs. |
